Juz bought 2 bottles of nail polish with glitter todae & they are so tiny and cute, very suitable for carrying around. (But I bought the small ones not bcoz I wanted to carry them around but coz I dont frequently apply them on^^....) Anyway, I realized there are still 2 bottles of nail polish I bought last time which is a long time ago, so I went and search for the information on the shelf life of cosmetic.
Mascara & Liquid Eyeliner - 3 to 6 months
Powders - (including eye shadows, loose & 2 to 3 years
pressed powder, blush and contour)
Liquids & Creams - (including foundations, 12 to 18 months
blush, eye shadows , bronzers, highlights
and contour)
Lipstick & Lip Gloss - 1 to 2 years
Pencils (eye, lip and brow) - 2 to 3 years
Nail Polish - 1 to 2 years (if stored in a cool, dry place)
Perfume - 2 to 3 years (if stored in a cool, dry place)
Sunscreen - most sunscreens have a 2 to 3 years life if stored in a cool, dry place (also, check for expiration date on the label)
Eye cream - 1 year
Moisturizer - 12 to 18 months
Tips:
---To prolong the shelf life of your cosmetics, keep items stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
---Capping products tightly after you have used them also, helps to extend the life of your cosmetics.
